Fresh Fun for Spring

Life has been exciting and busy these last few months. As many of you know we started off 2013 filming a new series for Treehouse TV. We’re thrilled to announce that the first three episodes started airing earlier this week! You can catch the videos daily at the end of some of Treehouse’s regularly scheduled programming. Three more new episodes will debut next week! Watch for the first airings of these at the following times:

Outer Space: April 22, 2013 – 7:23pm (EDT)
Helping Hands: April 25, 2013 – 6:23pm (EDT)
Muscles: April 26, 2013 – 6:53pm (EDT)

Bobs & LoLo on Treehouse TV

Bobs & LoLo’s new show on Treehouse TV!

We are also excited that Earth Day 2013 is just around the corner. Earth Day is a celebration of all the things we do in our daily lives to help nurture our beautiful planet, and it generally turns into a fabulous weekend of musical adventures for us too! We actually arrived on Vancouver Island yesterday and will begin a small mid-island tour tomorrow.

Our first stop is the Tidemark Theatre in Campbell River (April 19) followed by the ADSS Auditorium in Port Alberni (April 21) and a day of community fun in Bamfield to wrap things up on Monday, April 22. Full details about all of these performances can be found on our Events Calendar!

A few more fun comments from us about Earth Day…

Our final announcement is about the Great Kids’ CBC Song Search that launched yesterday. We are thrilled to have one of our songs included in the amazing catalogue of featured Canadian writers/performers! The first round is all in your hands – the listeners. Please consider casting a vote for our song! You can vote daily until May 8. As a bonus, every time you vote you will be entered into a draw for some great prizes including a grand prize trip for your family to the Kids’ CBC Days in Toronto this summer (airfare, hotel & spending money included). We’d be grateful to anyone who can take a moment to vote…every day! :)

Nature Rocks ON-TOUR-IO: Concerts & Tickets!

We are one week away from returning to Ontario for a series of concerts over the Family Day Weekend (February 16 – 18, 2013). We are self-producing these shows and would love your help spreading the word about the performances and ticket info.

All of the concerts will be intimate and interactive for families. The venues we have selected all have 250 seats or less, which will allow us a chance to do a ‘meet & greet’ with the entire audience after the show. Hooray! We look forward to the high fives, hugs and photos! We also have special treats to share with the kids (NEW B&L stickers!), and we’re happy to give out autographs too. :)

New Adventures for a New Year!

2013 has started off fast and furious in the Bobs & LoLo world. While things have been quiet on the live show front, we’ve been working hard on a new project for Treehouse TV. We are excited to announce that we have a brand new show premiering on the network this Spring. Stay tuned for more info soon!

We are about to jump back into one of our favourite things about our ‘jobs’ – live shows! Things get started this weekend with a couple of family concerts on Vancouver Island including Parksville (Feb 2 – today!) and Victoria (Feb 3). Tickets are still available for both events (see links below).

Live Online Concert Today!

Today is the day! We are so excited about our first live broadcast and online ‘living room’ concert. This is one of our favourite Facebook Holiday Countdown celebrations! Many of you have been asking for specific details on how to watch. It’s actually as simple as turning on your TV…

There was a bit of confusion on Facebook about the concert time, so to be super clear, the concert begins today at:

4pm – British Columbia & Yukon (PST)
5pm – Alberta & NWT (MST)
6pm – Saskatchewan, Manitoba & SW Ontario (CST)
7pm – Ontario & Quebec (EST)
8/9pm – Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick & PEI

Our apologies to families on the east coast as we realize the timing is late for some of you. Nunavut – you cross three time zones, so we hope you can figure it out based on the above. :) We will be recording the broadcast and reposting for those of you who can’t join us live.

Oh Canada!

We are excited to bring out our red & whites tomorrow for an all-day celebration of our home and native land -  Canada!

A few short months ago, we joined the rest of Canada as the country came alive with the spirit of patriotism for the 2010 Olympic celebrations.  We can’t wait to relive some of those moments tomorrow!
